This is such a touching story it can only end up as a bad beer commercial.

Our hero to be comes into the game in a key situation, his whole hometown is watching on the big TV.

He stinks up the joint, his hometown following throws every can of beer in the place at the TV...

Except for the guy holding Brand X.

The motto could be...If your son is going to serve up some gopher balls, you'd better serve Miller Beer.

The Paul Shuey Trade may turn out to be sleeper of all the trades made.

We picked up two very good pitchers, dumped salary, and have given another young pitcher (Sadler) a chance to prove himself.

How do you think Sadler felt about voting to strike?

That story is the same whether Sadler is making $50,000 or $5 million.

I don't think there has been a vote to strike, just a vote to set a strike date.

    I think it's a scam.

Are we supposed to be "grateful" because the Players union has decided to wait before they collect one last check and then quit before the playoffs start.

Why is there no class action lawsuit in case there is a strike? If there are no playoffs, ALL paid tickets for the ENTIRE YEAR need to be refunded. It's that simple.
